Anyone who wants to participate in the research part of the Expedition as a specialist in one of the scientific fields (ichthyology, zoology, botany, ornithology, entomology, ethnography, pharmacology, and archeology) can work out and send their research program to:
Research program should satisfy the following criteria:

To be developed with consideration of shared goals and route of the Expedition;

To have interesting aims in terms of this area’s research that are important for the development of universal knowledge in the field of geography/ biology/ history;

To be realistic and possible to complete in the given period of time with the equipment held by the Expedition crew. If the special equipment is needed, the member should consider bringing it himself on his own expense and carry it together with the gear already appointed to this member;

The program should be organized in a form of a plan schedule with each day written out. Every day should include the description of the amount of work and expectations.
Each member should be physically ready to endure the hot humid climate of the Amazon, and to refer with all responsibility to the actualization of their individual research program, Expedition’s goals and general discipline among the participants.
The standard requirements for organizing the research program:
- document MS Word 2003/2007;
- Times New Roman font, size 12; line spacing 1.5; the size of the whole document not more than 10 pages; all the graphics in .jpg format;
- participant’s personal details (full name; address; phone number; e-mail; web site; contacting information of the place of work; job position);
- brief description: why are you interested in this field of research;
- information which verifies your qualification for working in this field of research;
- one or two paragraphs describing why you perfectly qualify for becoming a member of the Expedition.
The participants’ works will be judged by the Expert committee consisting of: a) the organizers of the Expedition; b) professional travelers that perfectly know the area where the Expedition will take place; c) scientific experts of the corresponding scientific fields who work for the leading organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences,
